Connect your Instagram account

Instagram requires a Professional account, Creator or Business, to connect with apps like SwayQ.

This is Instagram's own requirement for third-party apps. SwayQ didn't add this step.

Or do it manually

    Open Instagram settings

    In the Instagram app, go to your profile, tap the menu, then tap Settings and privacy.

    Switch account type

    Scroll to Account type and tools, then tap Switch to professional account.

    Choose your account type

    Select Creator if you're building a personal audience, or Business if you're a company or brand. Either works for SwayQ, and you can change it later.

    Return to SwayQ

    Come back here and tap the Instagram button. You're all set!

Good to know

You can switch back to a personal account anytime in the same settings menu. Your posts, followers, and content stay exactly the same.
